Hospital Week 2010

05-21-2010 (Durant, OK) - National Hospital Week dates back to 1921 when it was suggested by a magazine editor who hoped a community-wide celebration would alleviate public fears about the facilities. The idea caught on and today National Hospital Week is the nation’s largest annual health care event.

MCSO celebrated Hospital Week May 10 – 14, 2010 and the theme this year was Celebrating Health, Hope and Healing.  Activities included hamburger and hotdog cookout; employee breakfast; snow cones and cotton candy; and lots of door prizes and drawings.

We want to thank our employees, Medical Staff and Auxiliary members for all that they do every day.
